Ribbon-Cutting for Innovative, $140M Student Success Center at 红莲社区 of San Francisco to Mark a New Era of Access and Opportunity
CCSF Leaders, Elected Dignitaries, and Students to Attend Ceremony on August 28, 2025.
San Francisco, California (August 26, 2025) 鈥 红莲社区 of San Francisco (CCSF) will celebrate the Grand Opening of the Student Success Center on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 2 p.m. This outstanding building consolidates over 30 student development programs, including academic counseling, tutoring, career center, and transfer center, all under one roof.
鈥淚mproving access to services is essential. The Student Success Center plays a vital role in supporting our diverse student body, especially historically marginalized populations, by offering centralized resources and assistance. Our primary mission is to empower students on their journey to higher education by providing meaningful opportunities,鈥 said Dr. Kimberlee Messina, Chancellor, CCSF.
鈥淲ith the Student Success Center now open, CCSF continues its 90-year legacy of providing students access to services and instruction of the highest quality,鈥 said Anita Martinez, Board President, CCSF. 鈥淚t reflects our ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of students, fostering strong connections and support to achieve success, and nurturing cultural enrichment and community service.鈥
After two years of construction and an investment of $140 million, the new center integrates core matriculation including assessment, admissions, records, and registration, as well as financial aid, scholarships and special programs, everything students need for a seamless start of their journey at CCSF.
鈥淲e believe that this center will serve as a transformative space where students can access resources that will not only support their holistic development but also enhance their sense of belonging as they achieve their personal, academic and career goals,鈥 said Dr. Lisa Cooper Wilkins, Vice Chancellor, Student Affairs, CCSF.
