Emphasis on the economic, political, sociological, technological and psychological environment that affects fashion changes and evolution. Role of manufacturers, designers and retailers will be explored along with the elements of fashion marketing.

An introduction to concepts, theories, definitions, methodologies, and social policy related to the history, culture, concerns, and conditions of the field of Ethnic Studies. Employs critical race theory, intersectionality, and Indigenous methodologies to analyze and articulate cultural, political, and economic practices and institutions that support or challenge racism, racial and ethnic inequalities, and patterns of interaction between various racial and ethnic groups.

Advanced low language skills. Extended communication on a diverse range of complex topics. Comprehension of a wide variety of authentic informational and literary oral and written texts. Multiple paragraph texts in a variety of genres.

High Intermediate 7 language skills in an abridged course. Extended communication on a range of academic, social, and career-related topics. Comprehension of adapted and authentic literary and informational texts. Development of multiple paragraph texts.

Low intermediate 5 language skills in an abridged course. Participation in extended conversations and short discussions on familiar career, social, and academic topics. Comprehension of short, adapted informational and narrative texts. Development of short paragraphs for a variety of purposes.

Basic principles of pharmacology including drug classifications, actions, therapeutic uses in emergency medical services (EMS) and methods of medication administration.

Practical strategies to build and strengthen cognitive function for students with mild acquired brain injury. Focus is on improving attention, memory, organization, planning, reasoning, and communication in a supportive group setting. Tasks include following directions, problem-solving, and verbal skills.

This is the adjunct course to CVT 310B, Professional Work Experience. Oversight of the student?s continuing skills development in the CVT ECHO College Skills Lab as it relates to performance during professional work experience in non-invasive cardiology departments,

This is the adjunct course to CVT 210B, Professional Work Experience. The course instructor will oversee the student?s continuing echocardiographic skills development in the CVT ECHO Skills Lab in the college setting. There will be oversight and support of students in their medical center internships (professional work experience).

Broad introduction to fundamental concepts in computer science. Investigate how computers store and transmit information, how to solve problems with computers by designing and implementing algorithms, and how computing fits into larger social issues.
